Functional Skills Tutor

We’re looking for a Functional Skills Tutor to support students who have been out of education for a while. You’ll help them develop key skills in English and Maths and build their confidence in their academic abilities.

What You'll Do:

1. Teach Functional Skills in English and Maths.
2. Create personalised lessons based on each student’s needs.
3. Support students who may feel nervous about learning and help them gain confidence.
4. Track student progress and adjust lessons as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Experience teaching Functional Skills (Level 1 & 2).
2. A patient, supportive approach to working with students who have gaps in their education.
3. A teaching qualification or relevant experience.
4. Passion for helping students succeed.
