ROLE PURPOSE

Our clients are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join their educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with young people, providing delivery in vocational subjects (employability, personal development) as well as Functional Skills in English and Maths.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Engagement and Delivery: Design and deliver interactive sessions aimed at promoting personal development and growth among students.
2. Deliver and Support: Support students with Functional Skills Maths and English from Entry level through to Level 2.
3. Tailored Support: Customize sessions to address the unique needs of student groups.
4. Student Development: Implement student-centered programs emphasizing softer outcomes to facilitate positive progression into adulthood.
5. Employability Focus: Enhance students' work readiness through targeted initiatives and support.
6. Liaise: Collaborate with the wider team regarding safeguarding, attendance, progress, and achievements.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

1. A minimum of 3 years' experience of classroom delivery and assessment is desirable.
2. You must have achieved Grade A*-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
3. Must have a Teaching Qualification.
