As a Functional Assessor, you will work autonomously to assess the cases of people applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit as part of the DWP's Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This will involve holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports.

As a Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in interviewing claimants to understand the challenges they face. By completing thorough assessments and examinations via telephone, video call, or face-to-face, you will assess how our claimants' disability/condition/illness impacts their functional ability on daily activities in a respectful, non-biased, and reassuring manner.
