Position: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: South Liverpool
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary/Permanent (depending on availability)

Salary: M1 - 6, UPS 1 -3

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a successful secondary school in South Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified teacher to inspire and engage students in the study of Religious Education, fostering critical thinking and ethical discussions in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver engaging and well-structured RE lessons in line with the national curriculum

Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  2. A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field
  3. Previous experience teaching RE at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
  4. Strong classroom management skills
  5. A passion for education and a commitment to student success
  6. Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service
