The role offers a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. About the Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will take on full classroom teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, report writing, and participation in parents’ evenings. You will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and interactive lessons across Key Stages, fostering a love for Science and encouraging students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for KS5.
• Assess and track student progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
• Take part in parents’ evenings, report writing, and departmental meetings.
• Encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for scientific learning through practical and theoretical lessons.
• Maintain strong classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Science department to ensure high standards of teaching.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent – ECTs are welcome to apply.
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
• The ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality education and continuous professional development.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
