Holt Executive is Hiring Full Stack Software Engineer (Python). Holt Executive is partnering with a pioneering space technology company to find a Full Stack Software Engineer Python to join their dynamic team in Harwell, UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge space missions, contributing to the development of ground segment software, mission control systems, and data services.

About the Role:

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications that support mission operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable backend systems, intuitive front-end interfaces, and robust APIs, helping to ensure the success of complex space missions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Django, and related frameworks.
2. Build user-friendly front-end interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
3. Design and implement RESTful APIs for mission-critical applications.
4. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and mission operations teams to enhance data management and visualization tools.
5. Optimize backend performance and ensure high reliability of data pipelines.
6. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of applications.
7. Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Essential Skills:

1. Proficiency in Python with experience in full-stack development.
2. Strong knowledge of Django or Flask for backend development.
3. Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) for front-end development.
4. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web application architecture.
5. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
2. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
3. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
4. Experience with data visualization libraries and tools.
5. Knowledge of ground segment or space mission operations software.
