Full Stack Software Developer, Leeds/Manchester/Sheffield/Nationwide

A look into the role

As a Full Stack Software Developer within our IS team, you will:

  1. Contribute to the design, development/build, testing and maintenance of cloud-based software solutions across the development and technology stack, working both individually and as part of larger project teams.
  2. Maintain and support underpinning Azure resources.
  3. Apply and contribute to the improvement of the agile and DevOps ways of working within the team.
  4. Actively participate in code and pull request review.

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Full Stack Software Developer, the minimum criteria you’ll need is experience developing full stack solutions as well as sound knowledge of modern application architectures and cloud technologies. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.

  1. Experience with .Net Core (C#), Python, .Net Framework.
  2. Experience with Angular or other front-end frameworks.
  3. Experience using and deploying cloud-based services, ideally in Microsoft Azure.
  4. Understanding of APIs and experience building and using them.
  5. Experience with effective code version control (Git), as well as CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g. Bicep, PowerShell or Terraform).
  6. Knowledge of unit testing.
  7. Experience building solutions using AI and ML tools, including OpenAI.
