About Us: Our client is a software technology company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in the global logistics market, currently working as an autonomous UK development organisation for a $100m US-based worldwide distributor and manufacturer of consumable automotive parts.

Position Overview: We require a creative thinker coupled with strong skills across the Full Microsoft stack including but not limited to:

• NET
• C#
• WinForms
• HTML
• Restful APIs
• SQL Server
• GIT-based Version Control
• Visual Studio

Type of person: Confident independent worker who is comfortable working remotely as a self-starter with limited supervision. We are looking for someone with a flexible attitude and a desire to learn new, related skills and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recommend and design solutions that meet requirements.
• Create solution designs and a roadmap that explain the problem, the architecture, how the system works, key considerations for security and data privacy and how it will be delivered aligning to architecture and delivery standards.
• Apply modern software development practices.
• Create efficient and robust designs for software components and effectively communicate and document these to the team and client.
• Support and maintain existing software as well as get involved with greenfield projects.
• Unit and integration testing of components under development.

Further experience:

• Extensive experience of working with servers, desktops, and networks.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with security and data protection best practices.
• Able to provide input to, and technical solutions to business requirements.
• Able to create and maintain documentation relating to:
  • Code development
  • Modifications
  • Troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
• Worked within project delivery frameworks, able to demonstrate time management and labour estimating.
• Effective communication and client relationship skills.
• A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a small team.
