Job description

Are you a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper with public accounting experience? Join our client, a well-established CPA firm in Birmingham, AL, and make a significant impact on businesses across Alabama.

Compensation: $55,000 per year

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Performing general bookkeeping duties, including account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Processing payroll and payables
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll tax returns
  • Preparing monthly sales, use, and rental taxes
  • Utilizing QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
  • Communicating effectively with clients and maintaining professional interactions

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

  • Multi-entity or public accounting experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of payroll and sales tax preparation
