Bethell are now on the lookout for a Fuel Truck Driver. The Truck will be used to deliver fuel for Construction Plant to Bethell construction sites throughout the Northwest. The role will be based at Bethell HQ in Kearsley, Manchester M26. The successful candidate will be required to drive a 7.5tn fuel truck whilst complying with all legal obligations and Company procedures/instructions as detailed within Driver Inductions, Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments and adhere to all associated Health & Safety requirements. The person will also need to achieve the vehicle drivers ADR (dangerous goods) qualification but the company will assist if the candidate does not currently have the qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To always be in a position to legally undertake their driving duties.
2. To ensure legal requirements for drivers hours and working time regulations are complied with.
3. To ensure their vehicle is roadworthy before and during use.
4. To maintain communication with the traffic office regarding progress of daily work.
5. To complete all relevant paperwork correctly.
6. To report any incidents and accidents immediately to the Transport Team.
7. To always ensure that work is carried out in a responsible and safe manner with no detriment to the Company or its Customers.

The Successful Candidate will:

1. Have a minimum Class 2 driving licence.
2. Drivers ADR - training will be given to the right candidate.
3. Have experience in driving similar vehicles, 7.5tn or similar.
4. Experience of construction industry desirable. CSCS / CPCS card would be beneficial.
5. Be a team player with good communication and customer service skills.
