Frontend Software Developer

Miller Maxwell is assisting an FX brokerage in expanding their UI team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the design and development of their core FX platform for electronic trading. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in defining and building dashboards and UIs utilised by users across the business, from front to back-end. The electronic trading platform facilitates the trading of billions of dollars. You will join a highly experienced software engineering team with members based in Chicago, Hong Kong, and London.

Key Responsibilities for the Frontend Software Developer:

• ️ Contribute to the design and development of new APIs, SDKs, and software engineering tools.
• Develop and maintain applications.
• Design and develop UI's for the platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
• Suggest and implement new ideas into the code base.

Requirements for the Frontend Software Developer:

• A degree in a STEM-related subject.
• At least 5 years of commercial frontend development experience.
• ️ Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
• Proven experience building robust websites or software applications.
• Experience with any of the following is desirable: Vue, React, Java, Flutter, Vaadin.
• ️ An eye for design is a plus.
