Lorien's client, a leading and growing firm operating in the world's largest financial market, is looking to recruit a Front End Software Developer to bolster their development function and continue to develop products and tooling for their expanding customer base.

They are seeking a Front End Developer with strong TypeScript skills to help in the development of several large-scale, sophisticated Single-Page Applications as part of their wider multi-window trading platform and work closely with their team in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve the key, global-reaching platform at the heart of our client's operations
• Design, enhance, and maintain Front End software and relevant APIs
• Liaise with a cross-functional team of Product Management, QA, UX/UI, and other Developers to push new products to release
• Ensure documentation is in order and follow best practices in line with agreed processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of current Front End trends and methods
• Strong understanding of software development, including data structures, algorithms, memory management, performance debugging, and some knowledge of Back End development
