Position Overview

As a Front End Software Engineer at BibliU, your primary goal is to drive significant advancements in our digital learning platform. In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality and organization.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology trends.
What We Are Looking For

Must have:

  • 3-5 years of software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, and Node.js.
  • Practical experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience in a CI environment including TDD.
  • Proficiency in MySQL/Postgres.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective teamwork skills, especially in a remote setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.

Good to have:

  • Experience with event-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with DynamoDB and NoSQL data design.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Experience in mentoring junior team members.
  • Skills in developing user-friendly designs.
  • Experience working with product teams on improvements.
