We’re a small Aussie startup of 25 looking for a talented A-player to join our team. We’re seeking a Front-End Shopify Developer who thrives on crafting seamless, high-converting user experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with our growth team to implement design changes, landing pages, and campaign-driven updates—all while pushing our eCommerce store to the next level.
We’re on a mission to serve 10 million travellers by 2033, and we’d love for you to help make that happen.
What do we do?
We offer prepaid travel eSIMs through our online Shopify store (www.simify.com) with unlimited data that are easy to use, affordable, and have zero roaming fees. We keep international travellers connected wherever they go.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Front-End: Take charge of our Shopify store’s front-end development—ensuring a seamless, high-converting user journey.
- Collaborate with Marketing: Translate design briefs into effective landing pages, campaign updates, and brand-consistent UX/UI improvements.
- Tailwind CSS & Design System: Implement and refine UI components using Tailwind CSS, creating a scalable, modern design system.
- CI/CD Workflow: Work within a CI/CD pipeline (avoiding direct edits to production), ensuring structured and safe deployments.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Research solutions via Stack Overflow, ChatGPT, or documentation—ensuring you code with understanding, not just copy-paste.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with front-end trends, bringing fresh ideas to enhance user experience and fuel business growth.
Skills and Experience:
- Shopify & Liquid (Preferred but Not Essential): Experience with Shopify Liquid is a plus; we can train the right person.
- Tailwind CSS: Familiar or willing to learn—help us maintain a modern, scalable design system.
- CI/CD & Version Control: Comfortable with Git, structured deployment, and best practices.
- Marketing Collaboration: Able to turn creative briefs into conversion-focused front-end designs.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Methodical approach to challenges and coding with true understanding.
- Portfolio Required: Show us your front-end work, ideally in eCommerce/Shopify settings.
Open to candidates worldwide, but you must overlap with Australian time zones enough for sync calls and swift collaboration.
