Front end loader

Location: Warmsworth, Doncaster DN4 9RS

Pay rate: £17 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with optional weekend work (Overtime rates apply)

Are you an experienced Front-End Loader Operator looking to join a dynamic team in the aggregate industry? We are seeking a skilled and hands-on individual to start immediately in a busy, rewarding role. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a front-end loader to move, load, and transport materials such as soil, gravel, sand, and other heavy materials.
• Efficiently load trucks, hoppers, or conveyors while ensuring proper weight distribution and safety.
• Communicate with supervisors, truck drivers, and other equipment operators to ensure smooth workflow.
• Collaborate with site team members and assist in housekeeping and general maintenance tasks to maintain a safe, clean, and organised site environment.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on the loading shovel to ensure it remains in good working order.
• Follow all site safety guidelines and operational protocols to maintain high safety standards.
• Be flexible with shift changes as required to support operational needs.
• Perform 20% duties of housekeeping / general maintenance work.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience operating a loading shovel or similar heavy machinery.
• Familiarity with material handling and stockpiling techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with regard to safety.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
