Position Overview:

Lorien's client, a leading and growing firm operating in the world's largest financial market, is looking to recruit a Front End Software Developer to bolster their development function in their Edinburgh office. The role involves developing products and tooling for their expanding customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve the key, global-reaching platform at the heart of our client's operations.
• Design, enhance, and maintain Front End software and relevant APIs.
• Liaise with a cross-functional team of Product Management, QA, UX/UI, and other Developers to push new products to release.
• Ensure documentation is in order and follow best practices in line with agreed processes and procedures.

What They're Looking For:

• Strong skills in React and TypeScript.
• A good knowledge of current Front End trends and methods.
• An understanding of software development, ideally including data structures/algorithms, memory, performance debugging, and some knowledge of Back End development.
