The role of the French Teacher
As a French Teacher, you’ll lead 30-45 minute French lessons supporting the children to learn the language and immerse them in cultural exploration. You will cater to different learning styles and ages from 3 months to 5 years, tailoring lessons to the unique needs of each child.
You’ll be responsible for planning lessons in advance and assessing the children’s learning, with an emphasis on developing their social communication skills. Integrating French into different activities such as snack time will aid the learning process.
Your primary focus will be creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where every child thrives. You’ll also step into the Nursery Educator role when not teaching French lessons. Effective communication with parents, children, and colleagues is essential to deliver the best experience possible.
You will assess and record children’s progress, ensuring no milestone goes unnoticed, and every achievement is celebrated within the children’s French lessons. We take pride in creating a nurturing environment that caters to individual needs, acknowledging the diversity of each child's background.
