French-speaking Assistant Management Accountant

Your responsibilities as the French-speaking Assistant Management Accountant will include:

1. Play a key role in the monthly management accounts process by analysing spending, comparing it to the budget and prior year figures, and recommending adjustments as needed
2. Partner with counterparts outside of finance to enhance their understanding of financial reports and to deepen the finance team’s insight into their departments
3. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries in the group’s General Ledger within the required timelines
4. Assist with external audits and year-end closing for the group entities

Job Details

The successful French-speaking Assistant Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:

1. Must be fluent in French
2. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
3. Excellent planning abilities with a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
4. 2-3 years of relevant experience in a management accounts role
5. Experience supporting multi-property organisations
6. Proficient in technology, particularly Excel; experience with Sage X3 is a plus

This role requires three days in the office, with the remaining days working remotely.
