Freight Sales Co-Ordinator

DCT Recruitment are looking for experienced Freight Sales Co-ordinator for our client based in Liverpool.

Job Description

As the Freight Sales Co-ordinator you will be responsible for:

1. Liaising with carriers, reviewing market trends and rates.
2. Research and develop new UK and international sales opportunities.
3. Maximise sales opportunities between our existing customers for all modes of transport; air, ocean and road.
4. Communicate with customers to build relationships and understand the business needs and requirements.
5. Review emails with sales quotes, FCL, LCL, Road & Air.
6. Work closely with the ops team to ensure the customer service experience is maintained.
7. Maintain Systems & CRM.
8. Attend Networking events.

Skills and Experience Required

1. 2 years' experience as a Freight Forwarding Sales.
2. Experience with data freight or model trans is desired.
3. Excellent planning and organisational skills.
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Motivational attitude to make positive and constructive input to the team.
