Job Opportunity: Freight Forwarder in Teesside

We are actively seeking experienced professionals in air, sea, and road freight forwarding with a passion for end-to-end logistics and aviation shipping to join our team as a Freight Forwarder in Teesside.

Job Description

As a Freight Forwarder, you will work within the European team's Freight Branch, handling critical tasks including:

  1. Managing import and export freight bookings, encompassing pricing, quotations, shipping coordination, and customs documentation.
  2. Overseeing transportation documents (e.g., bookings, bills of lading, loading confirmations) and arranging carrier nominations, including hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, and GSAs, to meet rates and OTIF targets aligned with customer requirements.
  3. Preparing additional customs documents (ISF, COO, clearance documentation, etc.) to facilitate smooth international transit.
  4. Conducting customer rate analyses, managing route guidance, and optimizing operational efficiency.
  5. Building and nurturing strong client relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and understanding individual client needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Freight Forwarder with:

  1. 2+ years' experience in air, sea, or road freight forwarding, with skills in both import and export.
  2. Background in pricing, quotations, and customer delivery planning for road, air, and sea freight.
  3. Desirable knowledge of customs compliance and a strong customer service focus.
