Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Basildon, Essex

Noble Recruiting are working with a long-standing, highly regarded global logistics company in Basildon to find an experienced and confident Freight Forwarder to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide customers with timely, accurate, and cost-effective quotations
• Maintain regular contact with the sales team and support the handover of shipments
• Book consignments with third-party contractors and manage delivery bookings
• Quote and manage cross-trade consignments
• Communicate quotations internally within agreed timescales
• Resolve customer complaints in line with SOPs and within agreed timeframes
• Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and suppliers
• Manage all invoicing and administrative tasks
• Support SOP development and departmental improvements

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience in Freight Forwarding (within the last 2 years)
• Experience in cross-trade consignments and third-party bookings
• Confident, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills
• Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, CRM/systems)
• Ability to multitask, stay organised, and prioritise
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• UK residency and full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• A driver with own transport is desirable due to location
