Job description

Swift Specialist Recruitment are looking for a Freight Coordinator (Air & Road) to join the team of one of our trusted clients, who are an established logistics company, providing bespoke expedited transport solutions via road and air to its global clients.

Job Requirements
  1. Quoting emergency transport solutions to our UK and European clients
  2. Chasing quotes via phone to ensure maximum conversion to sales
  3. Organising emergency transport solutions to our UK and European clients
  4. Ensuring client satisfaction throughout the contract via regular updates
  5. Keeping invoices and PODs up to date, ensuring clients are regularly informed
Desirable Skills
  1. Experience in planning emergency transports
  2. The ability to plan and execute logistical solutions
  3. An excellent telephone manner and experience in customer service/sales
  4. Excellent IT skills
  5. Knowledge of the EU regulations for road transport
  6. An understanding of customs
