Job description

Kenton Black are recruiting for a Freelance Site Manager (Joiner) in Aberdeen City Centre, for 6 weeks. The client is an established fitout contractor with a busy workload across Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the refurbishment project.
  2. Coordinating and managing subcontractors and site personnel.
  3. Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  4. Conducting regular site inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
  5. Maintaining project schedules and ensuring deadlines are met.
  6. Managing resources, materials, and equipment efficiently.
  7. Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  8. Ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all joinery work.
Minimum Requirements

As a minimum, you must be local to the area or willing to travel to Aberdeen City Centre each day as accommodation will not be provided. You must have your SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid tickets alongside a City & Guilds Carpentry/Joinery certificate.

As a reward, you will be paid an hourly CIS rate which will be paid to you on a weekly basis (paid a week in lieu).
