You will be responsible for developing and implementing our global PR strategy. You will deliver an effective PR strategy for both @jadedlondon and @jaded_man. This is a dynamic role which requires excellent, established relations with key press and VIPs relevant to the fashion industry, a strategic approach to outreach and engaging our current press contacts and VIP community as well as driving important new relations. A combination of excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, proactiveness, a strong understanding of market trends, and competitive brand activations is essential.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies and campaigns that tie into the business calendar.
Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, VIPs, stylists, and agents.
Write and distribute press releases, lookbooks, and other PR materials.
Bring an established network of media journalists, media contacts, stylists, and industry peers.
Develop and maintain the company’s PR calendar and media list.
Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to align PR efforts with broader marketing strategies and content plans.
Drive and coordinate features, media/press inquiries, and interviews.
Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports and analysis.
Be responsible for VIP guestlist for brand events and activations.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform PR strategies.
Manage and host in-house staying appointments.
Act as a brand ambassador, representing Jaded at industry events and networking opportunities.
Manage crisis communication and develop contingency plans.
Minimum Requirements:
An extensive network within the Gen-Z sector, including direct connections and relationships with senior media across fashion, consumer/lifestyle, news editors, as well as stylists, photographers, influencers, and models.
Considerable experience with a proven track record of running PR in-house within fashion/lifestyle brands in the UK, with a focus on the Gen-Z audience.
A degree in Business, Fashion, Communications, Marketing, or Journalism, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong interest in fashion, music, and consumer trends.
A proactive, hands-on attitude, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Confident in networking and being proactive/thinking outside of the box to secure press placements.
Keen attention to detail and results orientation.
Creative and agile thinking, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including press releases and media pitches.
