Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Freelance PR Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PR, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of lifestyle branding. They will be responsible for promoting Spinach Branding's services and enhancing our visibility in the industry. This role requires someone who can develop and execute effective PR strategies, manage media relations, and produce high-quality content that aligns with our brand’s vision and goals. Additionally, the candidate should have experience and expertise in working within premium and luxury lifestyle branding sectors such as wine and spirits, food and drink, hospitality, property, and travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute PR Strategies:
- Create and implement comprehensive PR plans to promote Spinach Branding's services and industry expertise.
- Identify key media outlets and opportunities for coverage.
- Develop press releases, pitches, and other PR materials.
Media Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry journalists, editors, and influencers.
- Secure media coverage in top-tier lifestyle, business, and industry-specific publications.
- Coordinate and manage interviews, press conferences, and media events.
Content Creation:
- Craft compelling content, including press releases, blog posts, articles, and social media updates, that reflects Spinach Branding’s expertise and services.
- Develop thought leadership pieces that position Spinach Branding as an industry leader.
Market Research and Insight:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for PR initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on industry trends and media feedback.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the senior leadership team.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the lifestyle, luxury, or branding sectors.
- Proven track record of securing media coverage and managing successful PR campaigns.
- Experience and expertise in working within premium and luxury lifestyle branding sectors such as wine and spirits, food and drink, hospitality, property, and travel.
Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media relations skills with a network of industry contacts.
- Ability to create high-quality content that aligns with brand messaging.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of lifestyle branding and the sectors Spinach Branding specializes in (food, drinks, property, hospitality, travel, high-tech, and fashion).
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.
