The Seam is a UK based startup revolutionising the world of care and repair. Founded in 2020, quickly becoming the UK’s most popular fashion repair service and the partner of choice for global retailers such as Net-a-Porter, COS, Veja and more.

With the rapid rise in more conscious consumerism, demand for care & repair services is growing fast. Our mission is to enable the new culture of care by improving access to much needed skills.

We’re looking for a creative and results-driven Freelance Marketing Specialist to join our team on a contract basis (2.5 days per week). We are looking for someone to support our strategy and implement it into day-to-day marketing activities. If you are experienced in storytelling, social media, and community engagement, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in the sustainable and circular fashion space.

Responsibilities

As a Freelance Marketing Specialist at The Seam, you will be responsible for the following:

• Content Creation
  • Develop and execute engaging content for social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Film, edit, and produce video and photo content.
  • Design graphics and write copy for digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with partners to promote mutual campaigns.
• Email Marketing
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns.
  • Write and design newsletters aligned with brand messaging.
  • Manage audience segmentation.
• PR & Partnerships
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers and journalists.
  • Coordinate gifted services and promotional campaigns.
• Website & Ads Management
  • Maintain and update marketing content on the website.
  • Manage paid ad campaigns, including budgeting and performance tracking.

Role Requirements

You might be a good fit if you have:

• Proven experience in marketing, content creation, and community engagement.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing.
• Experience with email marketing and website management.
• Comfortable working independently and managing projects proactively.
• Passion for sustainability and circular fashion is a plus!
