Fraud Solicitor, Liverpool

We have an exciting opportunity with a market leader in the RTA field offering a full service with dedicated teams dealing with fast track, multi track, fraud, credit hire, indemnity issues, and representation at inquests and criminal prosecutions.

We are currently recruiting for an Associate to join our team in Liverpool to manage a caseload of fraud cases. The team works on a hybrid basis.

Main duties and responsibilities

1. Manage caseload of motor fraud files effectively and efficiently
2. Carry out initial investigations and reporting to clients / preparing internal strategy reports as appropriate
3. Handle cases to conclusion including instructing investigators, posing Part 35 questions, instructing Counsel, and making Part 36 offers
4. Complete client and firm MI procedures
5. Comply with client SLAs, e-manual and local claims handling requirements
6. Achieve set chargeable hours and financial targets

About You

1. Experience of handling a caseload of litigated motor fraud files, preferably as a Defendant
2. Credit hire experience
3. Knowledge of CPR
4. Ability to work to meet deadlines and hit targets
5. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
6. Excellent communication skills
