Job description

An inventive Media and Events company is presently in search of an experienced FP&A Manager to join their Finance team. Our client is remarkably acquisitive and has recently finalized an acquisition that will solidify their firm position as one of the most rapidly expanding Media companies in the UK. With ambitious intentions to venture into emerging markets within the upcoming 5 years, this is an exhilarating juncture to come aboard, as this role will play a crucial role in driving future growth.

Key Responsibilities for the FP&A Manager:
  • Work closely with senior management to increase a company's efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plan.
  • Build budgets in collaboration with senior management.
  • Deliver competitor analysis, market trends, and associated commentary to the Leadership team.
  • Accurately forecast monthly revenues, costs, and results.
  • Manage the finance department as well as the purchasing/goods receiving team (team of 4).
  • Conduct margin analysis.
  • Experience working with SAP System, F&B Shop, and Opera is desirable.
Required Skills:
  • Previous experience as an FP&A Manager.
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Professional approach to work ethics.
  • Previous experience within the financial services sector is a necessity.
