Gist is currently recruiting for an FP&A Analyst (either CIMA/ACCA PQ or Finalist) to join our Finance Team based at our Chineham Offices, on a Permanent hybrid working basis. As an FP&A Analyst at Gist, you'll be a key member of the wider team responsible for providing visibility of business financial performance, supporting our Business Partners in their decision-making processes with financial analysis, and managing related budgets and forecasts.

The key stakeholders for the FP&A team will include the wider Gist Finance Teams, M&S Food Finance Team along with operational and functional teams across a matrix environment.

The FP&A Financial Analyst will also be accountable for providing financial planning, reporting and variance analysis to provide visibility of business performance.

FP&A Analyst role details:

• Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
• Hours: 38 hours per week (flexible working hours available)
• Working pattern: Mon - Fri
• Location: Gist Basingstoke, Rosewood, Crockford Lane, Chineham Park, RG24 8UB

What you'll do as an FP&A Analyst at Gist:

• Prepare weekly and monthly analysis and reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
• Accountability for completeness of monthly management accounts, taking ownership of balance sheet where relevant
• Ensure the accounts adhere to internal control procedures to safeguard the organisation's assets and minimise risk
• Communicate complex financial details for colleagues or partners without a finance background to ensure clarity and understanding
• Facilitate financial planning, budgeting and forecasting to optimise financial performance and decision making
• Support Functional teams at a Gist level with high quality analysis and insight enabling robust data-led decision making
• Work with Business Finance team where relevant to help drive Functional cost management and efficiency within the Operational cost base
• Assist in driving process improvement and policy development initiatives
• Ensure high levels of accuracy in all work submitted
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

What you'll need to be considered for the FP&A Analyst role:

• Be either CIMA or ACCA PQ / Finalist.
• An ambitious Finance Analyst professional, with drive to develop their career further.
• Great attention to detail & accuracy.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills - proven ability to communicate complex financial details for colleagues or partners without a finance background.
