Founding Junior Software Engineer

Hiring a junior engineer. We're currently at ~$8.94m ARR (Nov '24) up from ~$2.58m (Nov '23) and targeting $12-15m ARR for Q1 2025.

About Us: We are building the 'Walmart of import-export'. This includes the logistics and software infrastructure to provide both greatly increased availability to customers and reduced prices, starting in the US and UK but then expanding worldwide.

About You:

1. Django + Python experience: 3+ years
2. Ability to wire a label printer: 1+ year
3. Forklift driving experience: 2+ years
4. Experience in building product demand forecasts from messy/incomplete data: 4+ years
5. Enjoys the prospect of making freight more efficient
6. Graduated from a top university or has built demonstrably cool code (e.g., a major open-source contribution)

You’ll be improving our demand estimation, financial and accounting backend, eating takeaways in the office, occasionally mucking in on a warehouse shift, and working next to the CEO while also reviewing his code.
