Foundations Lead Structural Engineer - Offshore Wind. UK or Europe

Our client is currently seeking a talented Engineer to join their team and support them with a new Offshore Wind project.

This is a Senior / Lead / Principal role for Offshore Wind Foundation design.

Essential to have senior engineering experience offshore wind structures - ideally foundations.

As Lead, you will provide technical input on foundations during the full lifecycle of development and operations:

1. Managing Offshore Wind Foundation Design Contracts
2. Working across Engineering, Construction, and Procurement
3. Writing / reviewing / improving Employer's Technical and Engineering Requirements
4. Review of bidders' technical offers
5. Involvement in technical clarifications
6. Assist Design development clarifications
7. Estimates of CAPEX and OPEX impacts

• Structural engineering experience within FEED / Pre FEED for the Offshore Wind sector.
• Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in offshore wind turbine foundation design.
• Proficient in Primary Steel Structure design engineering for Offshore Wind.
• Experience in Design Engineering of Monopiles or Jackets.
• Experience working with developer / EPCI contractor on Offshore structures.

• Design of Primary or Secondary Steel for Offshore Wind.
• Transportation & Installation for OWF &/ Fabrication &/ Construction.
• Loads Analysis, specifically offshore loading and dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundations.
• Experience in Owner's Engineering, Package Management, Engineering Management or Contract Management.
• Certifications from agencies like DNV-GL, Lloyds Register, Bureau Veritas, etc.
• Offshore Wind Foundation design practices and developments.
• Offshore wind regulations, codes of practice, and design standards.
• Ideally Chartered Engineer or progressing towards chartered status.
