Fostering Hub Home Carer

Are you looking to take on a new and exciting challenge in your fostering career?

We are looking for experienced foster carers to become part of our groundbreaking new Fostering Hub Home.

We believe this Fostering Hub Home will be the first of its kind in the UK, an adapted version of the Mockingbird model. The Hub Home will offer a unique development opportunity for foster carers and has the potential to make an impact nationwide.

The Hub Home will be a residential home designed to:

1. address the current placement shortage
2. reduce the number of children needing long-term residential care
3. ease transitions through high quality care and improved matching.

The Hub Home will also be a dedicated space for foster carers and children, similar to the Mockingbird home of the hub carer in the Mockingbird constellation. The goal is to develop a community of care that offers support for children and foster families.

This innovative model promises to enhance the foster care experience and provide lasting benefits for all involved.

Requirements

• experienced foster carer
• experience working with older children aged 10 to 15
• ability to build strong and collaborative relationships
• open to working alongside residential staff
