Formulation Scientist
Dycotec Materials have an exciting opportunity for a formulation scientist to join our rapidly growing company. You will be part of our Product Management team, developing cutting edge advanced material solutions, including nanotechnology based systems, and their associated production processes while working in close collaboration with our global customer base.

Your Purpose in your role
You will be responsible for formulating our next generation of products and manufacturing processes, working on a variety of projects, initially supported closely by our senior product management and working more independently as your skills and knowledge develop.
What you will do and how you will succeed
We are looking for talented individuals to join our team and work at our UK manufacturing and technology centre. Creativity and the ability to innovate using your background knowledge in chemistry and materials science is key requirement for this position. Main responsibilities include formulation development, material characterisation and testing, statistical analysis of test data and developing associated manufacturing and quality control processes. This opportunity is a ‘hands on’ role, where you will be expected to use your laboratory skills. Training will be provided to operate a wide range of analytical and manufacturing equipment. You will need to work safely at all times with close adherence to health and safety practices including preparation of risk assessments. In addition, you will take an active role in customer visits, meetings, performing literature surveys, data acquisition and analysis to assist in producing written reports and presentations for our customers. Some international travel may be required.

This is a full-time position with salary in the range £30,000-34,000. Training will be provided. We work from 08:30-17:00, five days per week, with 1 hour lunch break.
