Job Title: Forklift Driver - Multi Pallet Handler

Location: Northfleet

Shift Pattern:
6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
4 on, 4 off (rotation)

Pay Rate: £13.59 per hour

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Driver to join our client's team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe movement, loading, and unloading of goods. You will operate a multiforked Counterbalance forklift truck, ensuring goods are stacked, stored, and handled in a safe and effective manner.

The role is based on a rotating shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, with shifts running from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. If you have forklift experience and are looking for a stable role in a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate a Multiforked Counterbalance forklift truck to transport, load, and unload goods.
2. Ensure safe and accurate handling of materials during the loading and unloading process.
3. Maintain an organised stacking system and storage of materials.
4. Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures.
5. Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements.

Requirements:

1. Valid Forklift Driver Certificate Counterbalance with at least 6 months operating experience.
2. Experience operating a Multiforked forklift truck is highly desirable, but training will be provided.
3. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
6. Flexibility to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and nights.
