Job Title: Forklift Driver - Multi Pallet Handler

Location: Northfleet

Shift Pattern:

• 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• 4 on, 4 off (rotation)

Pay Rate: £13.59 per hour

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Driver to join our client's team. In this position you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe movement, loading, and unloading of goods. You will operate a multiforked Counterbalance forklift truck, ensuring goods are stacked, stored, and handled in a safe and effective manner.

The role is based on a rotating shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, with shifts running from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. If you have forklift experience and are looking for a stable role in a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Multiforked Counterbalance forklift truck to transport, load, and unload goods.
• Ensure safe and accurate handling of materials during the loading and unloading process.
• Maintain an organised stacking system and storage of materials.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift Driver Certificate Counterbalance with at least 6 months operating experience
• Experience operating a Multiforked forklift truck is highly desirable, but training will be provided.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and nights.
