• Position: Forklift Operator
• Salary: £28,000
• Location: Partridge Green
• Hours: Monday – Friday

A well-established company in the education supplies industry is looking for a Forklift Operator to join its team. As a Forklift Operator, you will have a valid forklift certification and support the goods in and dispatch operations.

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

1. Load and unload delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Maintain accurate and timely records, including completing all necessary documentation.
3. Operate forklifts (Reach, Counterbalance, and Flexi) and conduct daily safety inspections.
4. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and operates in line with Health & Safety standards at all times.
5. Keep picking bins within the main warehouse regularly replenished to maintain workflow.
6. Utilize handheld devices to manage stock and update inventory records.
7. Support Goods-In and Dispatch operations as needed.
8. Follow instructions diligently and assist with other tasks as directed by the manager.

Skills & Experience Required:

1. Valid forklift certification (Reach, Counterbalance, and Flexi essential).
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse, particularly within a Goods-In or Dispatch setting.
3. Confident using handheld stock control devices.
4. Strong team player with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
5. Physically capable of manual handling and pallet packing.
6. Reliable with a solid track record in attendance and punctuality.
7. Able to follow procedures and complete relevant paperwork accurately.
8. A practical thinker with basic problem-solving skills and a good general education level.
