Forklift Driver / Quality Inspector

Supreme Recruitment are looking for a Quality person/Forklift driver to join one of our clients based in Wolverhampton (WV4) on a night shift.
This person will be in charge of collecting damaged pallets from the hub floor using a FLT, documenting damage and rewrapping them, making them suitable for transport.

Details of the role:

1. Use scan unit in an efficient manner
2. Ensure all pallets are scanned on allocated trailers
3. Use digital camera/able to manually document
4. Identify profile of pallets/clause accordingly
5. Escalate spillages to your supervisor or manager to ensure products/freight can be handled. Only trained and authorised personnel must handle spillages
6. Identify damaged pallets in QC Bay and establish if Hub fault or inbound damage
7. Take photographs of pallets upon arrival into QC bay and after intervention from Hub staff to make safe for transport
8. Using scan guns, scan labels for each pallet notifying all members of damage
9. By use of manual handling and equipment supplied making sure all pallets are in a condition for suitable transport
10. Use FLT to collect pallets from locations within the hub and bring to QC area

Shift: Monday - Friday 9pm - 6am
Pay: £14.18ph
