Forklift Driver / Labourer

Job description

Our client is seeking a Semi Skilled Labourer to help keep their Fabrication shop tidy and organised during a 4-6 week contract. The suitable candidate must have a valid forklift licence with operating experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operating forklifts in a safe and efficient manner
2. Assisting with loading and unloading materials
3. Labouring and general tidying duties
4. Maintaining a clean and organised work area
5. Supporting skilled tradespersons as required
6. Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
7. Performing basic maintenance tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

1. Valid forklift licence
2. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
3. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
4. Good physical stamina and ability to handle manual tasks
5. Flexibility to work a 46-hour week schedule

Contract Details:

1. Contract duration: 4-6 weeks
2. Work schedule: 46 hours per week (4 days x 10 hours, 1 day x 6 hours)
3. £15/h PAYE plus £1.81/h holiday pay (can be accrued or advanced) or £20.09/h Umbrella co
4. Must be able to start work at 0700 in Renfrew
