Job description

Tennial Personnel are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join our client's team in Felixstowe on a temporary to permanent basis (if a 12 week period has been passed, there is a potential for a permanent contract). This role works a shift pattern of Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5pm and involves operating a forklift for various warehouse tasks and assisting with warehouse operation. This position requires someone who is safety-conscious, proactive and capable of handling physically demanding tasks in a fast paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate a counterbalance forklift to move goods and materials around the warehouse efficiently and safely.
  2. Assist with warehouse duties, including stock picking, loading, unloading and organising products.
  3. Ensure goods are stored correctly to prevent damage and maintain an organised storage area.
  4. Follow all health and safety regulations.
  5. Assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and reporting discrepancies when necessary.

Skills Required:
  1. Previous warehouse experience.
  2. Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
  3. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  4. Strong understanding of safety protocols.

Qualifications Required:
  1. Counterbalance Forklift License (Preferably ITSAAR or RITTB accredited).
