Job description

We now seek to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver for our client. The role is ideal for a candidate who has significant warehouse operation experience and is happy to work in outdoor environments. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for the management of stock to ensure material availability for production and to ensure the smooth movement of finished goods to the correct destination.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate forklifts to move goods and materials around the warehouse. The core responsibilities will include inbound and outbound shipments of goods.
  2. Prepare raw materials for production lines to ensure effective operations.
  3. Load finished products onto trailers for dispatch, ensuring that the correct goods are shipped out.
  4. Perform various other warehouse duties, including stocking and the general organisation of stock to maintain a clean, efficient warehouse environment.
  5. Able to work independently to ensure that day-to-day activities run accordingly, assisting with schedules when necessary.
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Previous experience working in warehouses.
  2. Valid FLT license with previous FLT operating experience.
  3. Able to work under your own initiative within a busy environment.
  4. Good organisation skills with the ability to multitask.
  5. Proactive with attention to detail and efficiency.
Position Details:
  1. Temporary - Shift work available, both day and night.
  2. £13.50 per hour.
  3. Monday to Friday.
