Forklift Driver

Job title: Forklift Operative
Salary: £13.50ph
Location: Stevenage
Contract: Temporary to Permanent position
Hours: 7am to 5pm, 12 – 9.30pm – rotating shifts – Monday to Friday

An established and well-run business is urgently seeking a full-time warehouse operative to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate must be happy to work alone, as well as part of a busy team, and be flexible to warehouse duties. Must have a VNA license / PPT or counterbalance and Reach license!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Light lifting
2. Forklift license – VNA / Counterbalance / Reach and PPT
3. Reach forklift license
4. 6 Months experience with – WMS System – Red Prairie
5. Picking and packing
6. Hand scanner experience
7. Replenishing stock
8. Quality checking stock for shipments
9. Packing products to a high standard

Experience/Skills required:

1. Previous warehouse experience is desirable
2. Using hand held scanners
3. High attention to detail
4. Hard working, positive attitude / forklift counterbalance and reach license essential
