Job description
Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Monday to Friday 1200hrs-2100hrs
Pay: 12.80 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver for our client based in Kidderminster on a Temporary to Permanent basis. This role is available for an immediate start, the successful candidate will hold a valid Forklift Licence and have previous experience in a similar position.
The Duties of a Forklift Driver:
- Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and containers
- Move goods efficiently around the warehouse
- Ensure correct storage and stock placement
- Carry out daily equipment checks and maintenance
- Work as part of a team to meet deadlines
The Requirements of a Forklift Driver:
- Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance / Reach Truck preferred)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
