Job description
We are looking for
We are looking for an experienced forklift driver to join our yard team working on a 6 month fixed term contract operating on a Panama shift pattern:
6.30am - 7.00pm with shift pattern of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on & 3 days off.
The Position
- Follow all procedures relating to safe operation of forklift trucks
- Ensure forklift maintenance is carried out i.e. cleaning the forklift, water, oil, diesel, and tyre pressure
- Bins, pallets, and trays must be stacked neatly, in the correct place and to the correct height
- Always operate your forklift truck in a safe manner, checking loads are secure and being aware of people and avoiding damage to buildings and machinery
- Report any accidents etc. to your immediate supervisor as soon as possible after the incident occurs
- Ensure your immediate work area is kept clean, tidy, and safe
- Ensure all paperwork is kept up to date and is completed fully and accurately i.e. forklift check sheet, loading plans, rejects and hopper sheet.
