Forklift Driver

Central Recruitment are working as an employment agency, recruiting for an experienced Forklift driver to join their team.

Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, this will be a varied role that will include operating the forklift and warehouse roles.

Duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move stock around the warehouse
• Keeping production stock to a suitable level
• Updating computer systems to order new stock
• Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
• Reporting faulty items/stock
• Stock checking
• Liaising with other departments
• Working to delivery timeframes
• General warehouse duties

This is initially a temporary position with the strong possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate after a 12-week probation period.

Candidates applying for this position must have previous warehouse and FLT experience and have a valid Counterbalance fork lift truck. A Bendi would also be advantageous, but not essential.

Immediate start for the right candidate, full-time hours, onsite canteen, free onsite parking, accessible on a bus route.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm.

Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour.

Expected hours: 40 per week.
