Warehouse Worker / FLT Driver -

Location: Near Bridgwater

4 on 4 off days

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse worker capable of driving both reach and counter balance forklift trucks in a fast-paced FMCG environment. If you just have 1 license please still apply as training will be given.

As a Warehouse worker / FLT Driver, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating a forklift to assist with various tasks within the storage facility.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid RTITB accredited FLT Licence or In-House Awarded License and have experience in operating drum grabs, pallet wrapping, operating hand held scanners, unloading and loading lorries, basic paperwork, stacking boxes, and accurately locating pallets in a warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate a forklift to move and unload loose and palletised drum, pallets, and other materials within the storage facility.
2. Wrap pallets securely using pallet wrapping techniques.
3. Print and affix pallet labels.
4. Scan and document barcodes accurately to track inventory and shipments.
5. Assist with unloading and loading lorries with incoming and outgoing goods.
6. Complete basic paperwork related to inventory, shipments, and other tasks.
7. Maintain a clean and tidy work area by organising materials and disposing of waste properly.
8. Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

1. Valid FLT Licence.
2. Proven experience in operating a forklift in a storage facility or warehouse setting.
3. Knowledge of pallet wrapping techniques and barcode scanning.
4. Ability to perform basic paperwork tasks accurately.
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
7. Commitment to following health and safety guidelines and procedures.

Hours and Benefits

- 4 on 4 off shift pattern, comprising of 12-hour shifts (Covering 7 day operations but no night shift).

Hourly Rate = £13.42 per hour
