Forensic Accountant

We are looking for a skilled forensic accountant to join our accountancy practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as experience in forensic accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating financial discrepancies and inaccuracies such as fraudulent activity, financial misrepresentation, misconduct, and disputes. The role involves a combination of accounting, auditing, and investigative skills.

Your New Role

  1. Conducting forensic accounting investigations to uncover financial discrepancies and inaccuracies.
  2. Analysing financial information for a range of clients, including lawyers, insurance companies, and other clients.
  3. Creating and manipulating spreadsheets to present complex financial information.
  4. Undertaking interviews to uncover and verify information.
  5. Attending court to give expert testimony.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  2. Professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
  3. Experience in forensic accounting.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
