Description:
The position of the Sunday Sessional Coach consists of delivering on our Play Like A Girl programme. This programme is all about getting girls of any ability aged 5-16 to enjoy the social benefits of sport. Working to a syllabus that focuses on developing life and social skills through playing football.
The position will include delivery of practical sessions, supporting players and our current workforce. This position is ideal for someone who wants to work in the foundation phase of play and make a positive contribution to the community. Girls United pride ourselves on being able to offer pathways across our different programmes. Within Play Like A Girl we look to get girls with little to no experience to a level where they become confident and at a stage where they can trial for our Club teams. Also it offers a space where players who may have a certain level of ability can come and hone in on their abilities without the pressures of it being about winning and losing.
