Part-Time Qualified Food Technology Teacher

Are you a passionate and qualified Food Technology teacher looking for a part-time role starting in September? We have an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic school in Woking.

Position: Part-Time Food Technology Teacher
Location: Woking, Surrey
Start Date: SEPTEMBER 2025
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teach engaging and high-quality Food Technology lessons to students across Key Stage 3 & 4.
  2. Plan and deliver lessons that inspire and challenge students to develop practical cooking skills and a deeper understanding of food science.
  3. Ensure a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and collaboration.
  4. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
  5. Work collaboratively with the department to contribute to the school's curriculum and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  1. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience teaching Food Technology.
  2. Strong subject knowledge (KS3-KS4) and passion for food education.
  3. Excellent classroom management skills and ability to inspire students.
  4. Flexibility to work part-time and adapt to a variety of teaching schedules.
  5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
