The Role: Food Technology Teacher

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons focused on cooking, nutrition, and food science.
  • Develop students’ understanding of healthy eating, food sustainability, and the science behind food production.
  • Lead practical cooking sessions, guiding students in recipe development, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
  • Collaborate with the department to continually refresh and enhance the curriculum, ensuring lessons are inspiring and relevant.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities such as cooking clubs, food festivals, and competitions, fostering students’ passion for food beyond the classroom.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • A passion for food education, with a strong knowledge of food science, nutrition, and culinary techniques.
