Position: Food Technology Teacher
Location: Dorchester, Dorset
Start Date: ASAP - Long and Short term options available!
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
PAY: £180 - £240 per day!

About the Role:
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will inspire and educate students, fostering their creativity and practical skills in the kitchen while providing a strong foundation in food science and design. You will be part of a supportive team, committed to delivering outstanding lessons that engage and challenge students, preparing them for both exams and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
2. Develop students' practical skills and knowledge in food preparation, nutrition, and hygiene
3. Support and guide students through coursework, assessments, and exams
4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to the school's overall educational vision

The Ideal Candidate:

1. A qualified Food Technology Teacher (PGCE or equivalent)
2. Passionate about food technology and education
3. Experience teaching at secondary school level, ideally KS3 and KS4
4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
